We like to think there’s something for everybody. Your skill level is not important. There is always something new to learn. The club holds its primary meetings twice a month, on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month (except for July and August; it’s summer and you should be outside taking pictures). The links below provide more detail. -updated 4/17/18

Competitions and Critiques

The first club meeting of the month alternates between a competition and a friendly, non-competitive critique.

Speakers and Programs

The second monthly meeting presents a speaker, most frequently an expert  from the outside world. These programs cover a wide variety of subjects. Just to give you an idea, we have had presentations on macro insect photography, police crime-scene photography, commercial photography, setting up a post-processing workflow and so on.

Field Trips

The club offers anywhere from three to nine field trips every year. These can be single-day activities (such as a walking photo shoot in the Tucson Barrio (to a multi-day excursion (we’ve gone to Death Valley and White Sands,NM)

Special Interest Groups

These groups (SIGS) focus on one aspect of photography and generally have fewer attendees than the main group meetings.
