Club Camera Tucson is a community of photographers who like to get together and show and talk about photos. We welcome people at all skill levels. Program: Alex Badyaev – “What makes an image unforgettable? Insights from judging the world’s largest nature photography competition”

Alex Badyaev is a professor of evolutionary biology at the University of Arizona and a frequent writer and illustrator for natural history magazines. His scientific work, nature photography, and popular science writing have all been recognized by major international awards and fellowships. Most recently he was a category winner in BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year for three years – the competition for which he was recently a judge and the one that will be the focus of this program.
