Henry Johnson and I visited Patagonia yesterday. We didn't see many good birds to photograph on the Birding Trail at Patagonia Lake in the early morning. However there were numerous birds at Tucson Audubon Paton Center for Hummingbirds (no fee.) We are revising the trip to start at Paton at 8 am, 477 Pennsylvania Ave, Patagonia. We will go to "brunch" at Gathering Grounds, 359 McKeown Ave around 10. After brunch those who wish can visit the Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve adjacent to the Paton Center, or go to the birding trail on Patagonia Lake.
Information will be available on several other sites in the area worth visiting for those interested.
